Home improvement giants start annual hiring spree

Home Depot plans to hire 80,000 seasonal workers and Lowe’s plans to bring on 53,000 as the home improvement chains staff up for the busiest part of their year. Home Depot’s hiring plans are in line with 2017 while Lowe’s is bringing on about 8,000 more workers than it did last year.
