FMI disconnects trade show

The Food Marketing Institute has cancelled plans to run its FMI Connect trade show in Chicago next June after years of steadily declining attendance at the event. The trade organization, which has 1,350 members engaged in grocery retailing, has said it will explore developing new events that better fit the needs of its stakeholders.
