Energizer to pick up Rayovac brand in $2 Billion purchase

Energizer Holdings released news today that it will acquire the battery and portable lighting business of Spectrum Brands, which includes the Rayovac and Vatra lines, businesses generating $866 million in 2017. The deal will add those names to the company’s portfolio which includes the Energizer and Eveready brands as well as Hard Case, Dolphin and WeatherReady flashlights.
