Gib Bassett heads sales and marketing for Interactive Mediums, a provider of cross channel marketing software and services.
As opposed to technology that retailers and others must purchase and implement on-premise, Interactive Mediums offers its solution as a service, meaning it's quick and easy to begin engaging customers in a unified fashion across digital channels such as mobile, email and social media. Cross channel marketing -- in consideration of consumer channel preferences and the way they research, browse and buy -- is emerging as a best practice. Gib is focused on evangelizing the approach and assisting clients with their initial steps into cross channel marketing.
Overall, Gib has more than 15 years of CRM and analytic software marketing and product management experience. Prior to joining Interactive Mediums, he led product marketing for FICO Corp.'s Enterprise Decision Management Tools and Technologies division, a $100 million business unit. He joined FICO to lead services product management for the company's Precision Marketing Group, one of the leading database marketing companies serving many top retail and CPG brands.
Gib has held senior marketing, alliances and product management roles with several other public technology companies such as Platinum Technology, SPSS and ShowCase Corp, and obtained his MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.
