Amazon Cuts Off Colorado Affiliates Over Taxes

Amazon last week ended its relationship with Colorado-based affiliates in retaliation of a new state law aimed at getting out-of-state, online retailers to collect sales tax. Is it ever a good idea to charge taxes when you never had to in the first place? Is everyone aware that in Canada we will be moving to a combined federal and provincial sales tax system in the summer? Yep, add on another 13% to whatever we buy in the coming months. Just another shot to the retail industry in Ontario. It's the price we pay for a strong social infrastructure.
