Amazon wants to know if a 30-hour work week can work

In Amazon’s test, a team of employees — managers included — will work a 30-hour week. Reportedly, salaries will be only 75 percent of 40-hour workers, but employees will receive full benefits. The idea, says the company, is inspired by “the realization that the traditional full-time schedule may not be a ‘one size fits all’ model.”
